Why I Love This Recipe

This is a recipie from my mother that she always used to make for me and my sisters. It is best if you eat it right from the pan warm and put chese on it to let it melt. Delicious when ever you feel the need for something warm and wonderful for your body and soul. This is also something typical for Iceland, families have their own recipie for it. It is like very thick pancakes, best to use small pancake pan.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I have and my sisters have all our lives :o)

Bon apetit

Ingredients You'll Need

3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons baking powder
very litle salt -
milk as you need

Directions

you put everything in a bowl, and stir and add milk little by little until it is easy to stir, but dont have the dough to thin, it must be thick. hope you figure it out, thicker then pancake dough.. ask me if there are questions.

then but a pan on a stove, have it hot and put the dough on it with sauser.

well, bake it as you bake pancakes :o)

Questions, Comments & Reviews

They are always so delicious :) The thickness of them is similar to American Pancakes :) Just we love to eat them with Butter and Gouda cheese :), especially put the cheese on right from the pan to make the cheese melt in the cakes :) Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Yummy!!!

oh yes they are also so easy to make and taste with sweat and herb as well ;-) absolutely delicious
