Why I Love This Recipe

I got this recipe from my one of my uncles' cookbooks. There is no one person it belongs to, it has just been handed down through the years. My dad has a ton of apple trees and this is one way to get rid of the apples. I usually make this dessert for my neighbor for morning coffee. It is wonderful for the cook with little in their kitchen.

Ingredients You'll Need

Apples:
1-1 1/2 c. sugar
Cinnamon
Butter
Topping:
1 c flour
1 c brown sugar
1 stick butter

Directions

Mix together until crumbly.

Fill 9x13 in pan with sliced apples.

Sprinkle sugar over apples. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of apples. Dot with butter. Put topping mixture over apples.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Best served warm with ice cream.
