Apple Dapple Cake
Why I Love This Recipe
This was one of the first things I ever made. It became my dads favorite and he would often ask me to make it for him. Don't let its simplicity fool you,it is a wonderful cake.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 1/2 cup cooking oil
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 cups chopped apples,use a tart firm apple
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Mix cooking oil,eggs and sugar together.
Combine flour,soda,cinnamon and salt.
Add to first mixture and mix well.
Fold in pecans,apples and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
