Why I Love This Recipe
This was my late mother's recipe. This was my sister and my favorite as a kid -- and it still is. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have over the years.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 yellow cake mix, prepared according to pkg directions
Baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
Sugar, to taste
Cinnamon, to taste
Directions
Place apples in 9x13 cake pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and stir to coat. Pour prepared cake mix over apples.
Bake according to directions on cake mix.
Cake can be served warm or cold.
For an extra treat, serve with ice cream, whipped topping or pour milk or cream over it.
Is an excellent alternative to coffee cake or danish for breakfast.
