Baked French Toast Casserole with Praline Topping

I make this alot at my B&B and everyone loves it and I love it because I can prepare it the night before and just pop it in the oven in the morning.
Ingredients You'll Need
1-loaf french bread(13-160z)
8-large eggs
2-cps half and half
1-cp milk
2-tbls granulated sugar
1-tsp vanilla extract
1/4-tsp cinnamon
1/4-tsp nutmeg
dash of salt
maple syrup
Praline topping:
1/2-lb (2 sticks of butter)
1-cp light brown sugar
1 cp chopped pecans
2-tbls light corn syrup
1/2tsp cinnamon
1/2tsp nutmeg
Directions
Slice french bread into 20 slices,1 inch each.Arrange slices in a generously buttered 9 by 13 in. flat baking dish in 2 rows,over lapping the slices.In a large bowl, combine the eggs,half and half,milk,sugar,vanilla,cinnamon,nutmeg and salt and beat with a rotary beater or whisk till blended but not to bubbly.Pour mixture over bread slices, making sure all are covered evenly with milk-egg mixture.Spoon some of the mixture in between slices.Cover with foil and refrigerate over night.
The next day.pre-heat oven to 350*
Spread Praline topping evenly over the bread and bake for 40min.,till puffed lightly golden.Serve with maple syrup. do not cover with foil.
Praline Topping:
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl and blend well. Makes enough for casserole
