Cheesy Stuffed Shells
Why I Love This Recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
16 oz package pasta shells
1 lb ground beef
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup finely chopped onions
3 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
2 cup marinara sauce
1/2 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, as desired
Directions
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place shell pasta in the pot, cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente, and drain. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a medium baking dish.
Place the beef in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until beef is evenly brown and crumbly. Drain grease from skillet. Add garlic, onions & herbs. Saute 5 mintues over medium heat. Remove from heat and add in cream cheese, ricotta, and 1/2 cup of marinara.
Stuff the cooked pasta shells with the beef mixture, and arrange in the prepared baking dish. Cover evenly with the marinara sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake 15-25 minutes in preheated oven, or until bubbly.
