Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake
Why I Love This Recipe
Now before you go pooh poohing this recipe, stop and think. Mayonnaise is mainly egg and oil, which is what is left out of this recipe. My mother use to make this when I was growing up, and since it is pretty easy to make I use to make it in college for my roommates.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
4tbls cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup mayonnaise or miracle whip
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup warm water
Directions
Mix together dry ingredients.
Add 1 cup warm water, mayonnaise and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour batter into 8x11 pan.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
