Cranberry ALmond Banana Bread
Why I Love This Recipe
This is my mother's famous banana bread recipe with a few additions. It is the most moist and soft banana bread recipe I've ever used!
Ingredients You'll Need
                                     3 over ripe bananas
                    
                                     1 cup sugar
                    
                                     1/2 cup oil
                    
                                     1 egg
                    
                                     Beat all ingredients together. Stir in:
                    
                                     1 tsp. baking soda
                    
                                     1 tsp. salt
                    
                                     1 1/2 c. flour
                    
                                     1/2 c. chopped nuts (for traditional bread, use walnuts)
                    
                               
Directions
For additional flavor I subbed almonds for the walnuts and tossed in 1/2 cup dried cranberries and 1 tsp cinnamon. You can also use Splenda in place of the sugar and it works well!
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
