Cranberry Cookies
                      Why I Love This Recipe
I found this recipe in one of those cookbooks that you find at the check out aisle in the grocery store. I haven't made these is a long time, but I've always loved them and am looking forward to whipping up a batch for the holidays.
Ingredients You'll Need
                                     1/2 cup sugar
                    
                                     1/2 cup brown sugar
                    
                                     1/4 cup butter, softened
                    
                                     2 Tbs milk
                    
                                     1 Tbs lemon juice
                    
                                     1/2 tsp vanilla
                    
                                     1/2 cup chopped nuts
                    
                                     1 egg
                    
                                     1.5 cups flour
                    
                                     1/2 tsp baking powder
                    
                                     1/4 tsp baking soda
                    
                                     1/4 tsp salt
                    
                                     1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
                    
                               
Directions
Heat oven to 375F.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or grease.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar and butter, beat well.
Add milk, lemon juice, vanilla and egg; blend well.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir into sugar mixture and mix well.
Add cranberries and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 375F for 8 - 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
Remove from sheets and let cool.
