Ingredients You'll Need
1 package instant vanilla pudding and pie filling
1 cup buttermilk
(Whip with a wire whip until it thickens)
8 ounces cool whip
2 large cans pineapple, well drained
2 cans mandarin oranges, well drained
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Sliced fresh strawberries
Directions
Make the night before. Combine vanilla pudding filling with 1 cup buttermilk. Whip until it thickens. Add cool whip and any fruit you desire. Kathy used two large cans of pineapple and two cans mandarin oranges, well drained. Fold in 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and fresh, sliced strawberries. However, you can combine any fruits to your liking - fresh or canned. If serving the same day, lightly dab fruit with a paper towel so the mixture doesn't get to loose. Garnish top with sliced, fresh strawberries or cherries.
