Ingredients You'll Need
1cup boiling water
2cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 well beaten eggs
2Ã 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup buttermilk
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla;
Directions
Mix all ingredients together adding boiling water last. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45min. or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool. Garnish as desired. Enjoy!
