Why I Love This Recipe

When I make this oyster stew I never use exact measurements. You really do not need exact measurements, but I will give around what amount of each ingredient to use.

Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 -2/3 gallon of whole milk
2 cans of oysters (drained)
1 stick of butter (give or take depending on taste)
Salt and pepper
parsley flakes (optional)

Directions

Pour milk into large soup boiler, add oysters, butter, salt a pepper to taste (I use a good bit of salt and pepper) , and sprinkle parsley flakes (around 1 - 1 1/2 tablespoons) into milk. Heat until steaming hot, not boiling! Keep stirred.

Also If your refrigerate over night, when re-heating keep stirred! It is very easy to scorch!
