Why I Love This Recipe

This is the banana bread my grandma always made us for breakfast when we would come to visit her. It's so moist and delicious and nothing makes me think of her like when I make this.

Ingredients You'll Need

3 1/2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cups shortening
1 1/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
5 very ripe mashed bananas

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream together shortening and sugar.

Add eggs one at a time.

In a seperate bowl combine first 4 ingredients, the add to the wet mixture.

Finally, add in mashed bananas. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.

Bake for about 1 hour.

Enjoy!
