Grandma's Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add syrup and eggs. Add peanut butter and mix.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Stir into peanut butter mixture and mix well.
Drop spoonsful onto cookie sheet at least 2 inches apart. Flaten dough slightly with fork tines.
Bake 5 to 8 minutes.Cool on rack for 3 to 5 minutes before removing from pan.
