Hummus

Why I Love This Recipe
I started making hummus from the bulk, dried, just add water kind and realized that I could better control the ingredients and freshness if I made my own, so I played around a lot and this has been a very popular recipe amongst my family and friends. Let me know if you like it or make any additions. I love to try new variations.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 cans Garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
1 lemon
1 clove garlic minced
3 T. tahini
Olive oil
chopped cilantro - a good handful
salt to taste
Directions
I like to use a hand blender, but you could use whatever method you have handy to blend this all together.
Drain beans and rinse. Blend together beans, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and salt. Use olive oil (or more lemon juice) to thin it out to your desired consistency. Stir in Cilantro and adjust salt as desired.
I like to eat this with feta, olives and cucumbers on tortilla chips or any sort of flat bread. Makes a great dip!
