Apple crumble with a twist!
Ingredients You'll Need
3 medium apples
Juice from 1 lemon
2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
2 tsp. cinnamon
For The Crumble:
1 ¾ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
¼ cup steel-cut oats
3 tablespoon flaxseed meal
1 cup chopped walnuts
½ cup pure maple syrup
¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix apples, lemon juice, maple syrup and cinnamon in large bowl until well combined.
Pour apple mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly.
Using the same mixing bowl add crumble ingredients and mix well. Spread oatmeal crumble evenly over cinnamon apples.
Bake for 45 minutes or until crumble begins to brown.
Let cool for 15 minutes.
Pairs Well With
Vegan Ice Cream or caramel.
