Icecream Cone Brownies

Why I Love This Recipe
One of my kids favorite treats. They had limited taste and didn't like to entertain anything exotic. I got this recipe from an old Home Cooking pamphlet. My kids and their friends liked these better than any other treats I made. lucas hess
Ingredients You'll Need
12 flat bottomed icecream cones
1 (21 to 23 ounce) boxed brownie mix
1 6oz package of chocolate chips
3/4 stick of soft butter
candy sprinkles
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place cones in muffin tins or on a baking sheet. Prepare brownie mix according to packaged directions.
Spoon batter into cones till 3/4s full.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until tops have risen above the rims of the cones and cracked.
Remove from oven and cool to room temp.
Frosting: Melt chips and butter.
Mix until smooth.
Dip tops of cones in chocolate.
If not well covered, dip a second time.
Stand cones upright and sprinkle with candy sprinkles.
Let stand at room temp until chocolate hardens.
