INDORI CHAAT-Stuffed Tomato CHAAT is a delicious Indian recipe served as a Snack or Starter.
Today I would like to introduce you to one of those CHAATS which I have been preparing from long time, giving a real delight to the taste buds.
Stuffed Tomato Slice CHAAT fits perfectly in all the 3 categories. It is nutritious, healthy and a one good for those lengthy chit-chat parties. And the best part is you can make it at home in just a few minutes.
The word CHAAT in Hindi means it’s the name of India's favorite hot & spicy, savory & slightly tangy and a little bit sweet food.
Ingredients You'll Need
4 Tomato Slice(Thick),
1 cup Boiled Potato,
¼ Cup Chopped Tomato & Onion,
4 Tbsp Sweet Chutney,
2 Tbsp Spicy Chutney,
4 Tbsp Thick Sev,
1 tsp Maida,
¼ tsp chopped Green Chillies,
1 Tbsp Coriander,
Salt to Taste. Chaat Masala, Coriander as required.
Directions
Take thick Tomato slice & remove all seeds from the centre.
Make Tomato Rings.
Take boiled Potato in a plate, add chopped Green Chilies, Maida, Salt & Coriander in it & mix well.
Now stuff this Potato mixture inside the Tomato Rings.
Dust some Maida on the both sides of the Tomato Rings.
Spread some oil on a pan & place all Tomato Rings on it.
Roast the Tomato Rings till they become light brown.
Cool it for 5 minutes.
Assemble the CHAAT; first place the roasted stuffed Tomato slice in bowl.
Over this, spread Sweet Chutney, Spicy Chutney, chopped Tomato, Onion, Sev, Chaat Masala, & garnish with Coriander.
