Why I Love This Recipe

My mom loved to make this easy cobbler with whatever fruit was in season. She thought pie crust was too much trouble so we ate lots of cobblers.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups fruit, peeled and sliced when necessary(peaches, apples, pears, blackberries, cherries, raspberries, plums, etc.)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Whisk together the sugar, flour and milk. Add the melted butter. Pour the batter into a buttered 12x8 baking dish. Sprinkle the fruit over the top of the batter. Sprinkle with more sugar, if desired.

Bake at 350 degress for 50-60 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Serve warm.
