Party Ryes

Why I Love This Recipe
My brother first served these when we went to visit him in Arizona in the early 80's. Have lost track of the number of times that I have been requested for the recipe. They freeze great so are really good to have on hand when unexpected guests drop by.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1 lb. Velvetta, cubed
Party rye slices
Directions
In a skillet cook the two meats until done, drain.
Add the velveta cheese and stir until combined. Adding more if it seems alittle dry.
Spoon onto the party rye leaving alittle of the edge showing. Place on cookie sheet and put under the broiler just until lightly browned.
Or you can freeze uncooked on a cookie sheet, then place into containers and keep frozen until needed. So handy when unexpected guests drop by. No need to defrost before broiling.
