Quick and Easy Chili

Why I Love This Recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
1 pound ground meat (beef, buffalo, turkey or chicken)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 envelope McCormick's reduced sodium chili seasoning mix
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 can kidney beans
1 4 oz can diced green chiles (whatever heat level you prefer)
Directions
In a large stock pot, cook meat, onion and bell pepper over medium heat until meat is browned. Drain off fat. Add all other ingredients, turn heat up to high and let it start to bubble. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until vegetables are cooked all the way through, stirring frequently. Adjust seasoning to your preferred heat level. I add a few dashes of Tabasco because we like it spicy.
This is great with saltine crackers or tortilla chips for scooping. A little shredded cheddar cheese on top of each bowl makes it especially yummy!
