Steak Spice Rub

Why I Love This Recipe
In a small bowl mix all the ingredients and mash them together with your fingers.
Ingredients You'll Need
1-teaspoon of salt (sea salt or kosher)
½ teaspoon of granulated garlic powder
½ teaspoon of dry basil
½ teaspoon of dry oregano
A dash of ground thyme
¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon of ground white pepper
A dash of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of whole black pepper
Directions
In a small bowl mix all the ingredients and mash them together with your fingers.

¼ teaspoon of ground white pepper
A dash of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of whole black pepper
Rub the steaks with olive oil and then apply your spice mix ; cover both sides of the steak with the spices.
Make sure to save some of the spice mix to apply on the steak prior to placing on the grill. Place the steaks in a glass dish and pour in some red wine - doesn't really matter how much.
Allow the steak to marinate for at least 2 hours prior to cooking .
Grill over moderately high heat. It takes about 4 to 6 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the steak.
If you like things hot, just add more cayenne to the spice rub!
