Tasty Crockpot Ham
Why I Love This Recipe
I believe I found this recipe on a web forum but I honestly am not sure of its origin. I've prepared this many times and I've found it to be effortless and the results are to die for. The ham is tasty and tender every time. The only concern is to make sure you purchase a ham that will fit into your crockpot.
Ingredients You'll Need
Ham
mulled or spiced cider mix (dry)
1/2 C. lemon/lime soda
Directions
Prepare ham for cooking by using the mulled/spiced cider mix as a dry rub. Thoroughly rub the cider mix all over the ham. Place ham in the crockpot.
Pour 1/2 C. lemon/lime soda into the crockpot being careful not to pour directly on the ham.
Cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours until ham is tender. Remove from crockpot and allow to cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
