Trailer Trash Truffles
Why I Love This Recipe
Where the name came from noone seems to remember though a friend of ours said they used to be called Oreo balls. Oh well.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 8oz package - Cream Cheese
1 package Oreo Cookies
1 package Semisweet Chocolate Chips.
Directions
Let cream cheese warm up to room temperature.
In the mean time, fire up the food processor and give the Oreos a spin until well pulverized.
Add the room temp cream cheese and pulse until nice and smooth.
Take this mass in the refrigerator until it firms up.
Melt your chocolate chips.
Once the chocolate is melted, scoop out balls out of your chilled mass and roll them into truffle sized balls.
Dip into chocolate and refrigerate once again.
Keep cool until serving. Enjoy.
