Cinamon Apple Cupcakes!!!! Yum-o
Why I Love This Recipe
The outcome is a very fluffy soft cupcake that will be sure to please everyone.
I made these for the 1st time on Monday. I was in the mood to make something for my family and I wanted something with apples. So I decided to add my own twist to a box cake. They were so good that a house of 6 made them disapear in 1 day. I hope you like them as much as my family did.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 Box Yellow Cake Mix (Any Brand)
2 Galla Apples Cored & Sliced Thin
1/2 Cup Margarine
1 Teaspoon Cinamon
1 Tble. Dark Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Sugar
1 Tble. Flour
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Teaspoon Lemon
Directions
Once the Apples are cored and sliced put them in a small bowl and add the lemon, sugar and a pinch of cinamon and mix it so everything mixes together.
In a seperate bowl make the cake batter by following the directions on the box. Take half of the apples and cut them into bite size pieces and add them to the batter.
In another small bowl add the margarine, cinamon, brown sugar, flour, vanilla and mix it all together until its a creamy consistency.
Then add it to the cake batter and stir.
Put cupcake wrappers in the cupcake pan. Fill them about half way with batter. Then add 2 apple slices on top of each of the cupcakes. Then bake for about 24 minutes at 350 degrees. This recipe makes 24 cupcakes.
Tip: Any extra apple slices can be given to your kids as a healthy snack.
