Why I Love This Recipe

Southern California is literally burning down. The news is depressing and it's hard to imagine what the folks that are losing their homes are feeling. It's also very hot .. right now it's at least 88 degrees today and it's hot as hell. Not only is the heat out of control, but you can't open the windows because of the air quality. You can smell the fire for hundreds of miles which is a constant reminder that there is a fire nearby. With very little in the fridge (cleaned it out for National Clean Your Fridge Day), I created this recipe to help cool down. It's seriously delicious.

Ingredients You'll Need

a blender
2 cups of milk or soy milk
a tray of ice cubes
kahlua (amount depends on how strong you want it)
chocolate chips

Directions

Add all ingredients to your blender and mix.
