Cookbook Recipe
Cajun Seafood Fettuccine
This is the recipe my husband prepared for me on our first Valentine's Day together so it holds a place near and dear to my heart - and stomach! It is spicy so if you prefer you can divide the amounts of peppers in half. Submitted by: "Colette Martin"

Cookbook Recipe
Cream cheese hazelnut cookies
These bite-size morsels of goodness melt in your mouth - but watch out… they are addictive! Submitted by: "Julie Charron"

Cookbook Recipe
Cream Cheese & Bacon Deviled Eggs
Great for any party Submitted by: "Shanta Wilson"

Cookbook Recipe
Savoury Meatballs with Cranberry Sauce
This recipe is the perfect party food and is always a crowd-pleaser! Tip: to save some time, feel free to use your favourite store-brand pre-cooked frozen meatballs. This recipe is taken from the "America's Best Slow Cooker Recipes" cookbook, by Donna-Marie Pye. Submitted by: "Julie Charron"

Cookbook Recipe
Cherry Blossom Cheese Tarts
Easy crowd-pleaser. Use different paper baking cup liners depending on the occasion. Submitted by: "Cynthia Mar"

Cookbook Recipe
Empire Cookies
An Empire cookie is a sweet biscuit from Scotland, and found in most Commonwealth countries. In Canada, it is primarily found in Winnipeg and in parts of Montreal (my hometown, where I first encountered it). Originally known as the "Linzer biscuit", and later as the "Deutsch biscuit", it became known as the Empire Cookie with the outbreak of the First World War. The cookie itself is a slightly sweet shortbread, and together with the jam and almond-flavoured icing, they are always a hit. Submitted by: "Sarah Govan-Sisk"

Cookbook Recipe
Chicken Tortilla Soup (Instant Pot)
The BEST Instant Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup – made from scratch, in a fraction of the time! Delicious and healthy, loaded with chicken and veggies, this soup will warm you to your bones! Submitted by: "Alison Millard"

Cookbook Recipe
Pannukakku (Finnish Pancakes)
This is a favorite family (and friend) recipe that you will never get tired of. It is a delicious, custard-filled oven pancake that is quick to make. You can put fruit, whipped cream, syrup or even jam on top. Submitted by: "Krista Mulholland"

Cookbook Recipe
Frogs
These chocolate "frogs" are a macaroon-type cookie that are a longtime family favourite. They are named because of a little boy several generations back who thought they looked like frogs. Submitted by: "Sara Kruyk"

Cookbook Recipe
Cheesecake (the best!)
This is the favorite dessert of my kids. I have to prepare 2 cheesecakes at a time because one is not enough! Submitted by: "ANNIE HARDY"

Cookbook Recipe
Saltine Cracker Toffee
Love this recipe because it is easy and tasty. Christmas 'crack'er is a saltine cracker covered in a brown sugar butter sauce and baked until it turns into caramel! The saltine cracker melts into the caramel making it a salty and sweet treat! The top is topped with chocolate for the ultimate indulgence. Submitted by: "Shanta Wilson"

Cookbook Recipe
Delicious Layered Nacho Dip

This is my mother-in-laws recipe, although when I asked her for a copy of the recipe she laughed and informed me it was not written anywhere. So I asked her to make them with me while I tried desperately to pause along the way and record the amounts - it was an interesting process but well worth it! Submitted by: "Colette"

Cookbook Recipe

Maple glazed salmon Submitted by: "Natalie Strittmatter"

Cookbook Recipe
Nanimo Bars
Not much to say about this except YUM! it takes a bit of time and planning but so worth the effort! Enjoy! Submitted by: "Colette Martin"

Cookbook Recipe
European Holiday Bread
I craved this delicious bread of my childhood and was determined to develop a recipe to share this culinary heritage. As potatoes were a staple in many Lithuanian meals, adding cooked potatoes to the batter provided a soft and tender texture. Now every Easter and Christmas, the tradition continues. Submitted by: "Friend"

Cookbook Recipe
Crown Royal Cookies
Crown Royal Cookies - make sure to leave some of the Crown Royal for the recipe :) Submitted by: "Shanta Wilson"

Cookbook Recipe
Pasta à la vodka
Don't let the can of tomato soup fool you. This recipe is a favourite because it's easy and tastes upscale. It's also not as boozy as it sounds! I leave out the prosciutto and chili flakes to make it more kid-friendly (my kids have eaten this since they were little). Please enjoy! Submitted by: "Susan Kay"

Thank you for your interest in SMW13's cookbook and for helping support the BakeSpace community of independent cookbook authors!

Here’s some quick information regarding how our cookbook platform works, along with a few tips for making the most of cookbooks you add to your library.

What is the Cookbook Café Platform?

Cookbook Café is our one-of-a-kind cookbook publisher, marketplace and reader. It empowers everyone to create, market and distribute a cookbook as both a web-based eBook and an iPad app. It also makes it incredibly easy for home cooks to discover and use amazing grassroots cookbooks they won't find anywhere else. Since 2012, we've published thousands of cookbooks authored by home chefs, nonprofit organizations, clubs, brands, etc. Our goal is to democratize cookbook publishing and make it easy to build an online library of amazing grassroots cookbooks.

How do I "download" a cookbook?

You don't need to "download" cookbooks or deal with any files. All of the cookbooks you select (free and paid) using Cookbook Café become available to you automatically on any device (computer, tablet or smartphone) whenever you’re logged-in to your free BakeSpace account.

When you see a cookbook you like, simply click the green "Get it Now" button. If you're not logged in to BakeSpace, you'll be asked to login (or join) so the cookbook can be added to your cookbook library. Once in your library, you can access the cookbook anytime, anywhere via BakeSpace.com, as well as our Cookbook Café iPad app.

While you're checking out cookbooks, also take some time to visit other parts of the delicious BakeSpace.com community where you can swap recipes and connect with others who share your passion for food and the culinary lifestyle.

Get ready to enjoy a uniquely smart and social cookbook experience!

Once a cookbook is added to your BakeSpace library, our proprietary recipe indexing technology makes it easy for you to find any specific recipe across all of your cookbooks… so there's no need to remember which cookbook contains that perfect recipe. In addition, you can connect directly with each cookbook author, leave comments/reviews and even ask questions about recipe substitutions, history, etc.

Need more info/help or want to provide some feedback?

We're happy to help! Send us an email to [email protected].

I’d love to make my own cookbook - how do I do that?

It's easy and free... visit our Make Your Own Cookbook section to get started.
